On May 19th, Senator Jeff Klein (D-Bronx/Westchester) presented seven academic and leadership awards to 8th grade graduates of The Urban Institute of Mathematics. The 8th grade class of 2010 will be the first class to graduate since the school opened three years ago. Klein also gave The Urban Institute of Mathematics a $20,000 grant.
